Pirmasens. A lot has happened since the shoe brand Kastinger was taken over by Lemipan GmbH, the new licence partner, in 2016. Kastinger has had an online presence on the world wide web since March 2018.
The new slogan of the traditional brand Kastinger says it all: Tradition in motion. Not only is this what makes the brand; it is also what the brand stands for. For the brand relaunch, it was important to remember where the company came from and not forget about the modern innovations either. A combination of old and new – and this naturally had to be an integral part of the new website. Kastinger has had an online presence since 2018. Detailed information about new collections, a modern 3D animation, the brand’s history and news about what’s happening in the company are just a few of the new features on the website. The website will initially be operational in the B2B segment. By logging in as customers, dealers can access business documents directly via the page and can contact Lemipan GmbH directly if they have any questions. A new shoe collection will appear on the website twice per year.
Innovation is an important buzzword for Kastinger. After all, there’s a good reason why the brand works with Vibram, the leading manufacturer on the sole-producing market. But it’s not just the soles that are special at Kastinger; the design and processing of the shoes are unique too. In 2015, Kastinger received the Plus X Award in the Sports / Outdoor category for the Kastinger K-TECH Alpine Pro in recognition of its innovative mindset and actions.
Managing Director Leo Burkhart says: “We are delighted to have now made the jump into the digital age with Kastinger. On our website, we remain true to our brand slogan. The site will, in any case, continue to grow over the next few years, and we’d like to offer our customers added value – with our new newsletter, for example.”

Lemipan GmbH was established in March 2016, after it became necessary to market Kastinger as a licence brand in the long term. The team is made up of experienced shoe and outdoor experts who have been active in this field for all of their professional lives.
The company is managed by Leo Burkhart. The company has its headquarters in Pirmasens, where even today you will find diverse and extensive shoe-related expertise.
